What is GTHD?
GTHD is a database of Genome Topology Human Disease.
GTHDTrying to explain the occurrence and development of diseases from the perspective of three-dimensional genome has gradually become a new perspective. Our work summarizes the research of three-dimensional genome related diseases. Multi-dimensional qualitative description and research of diseases can expand the interpretation dimension of genetic diseases, and provide some inspiration for the basic research of molecular biology and clinical research in the field of related diseases.
Introduction
With the development of three-dimensional genome, many researches on diseases related to three-dimensional genome have been published, which are trying to explain the diseases from the perspective of three-dimensional genome. However, in these papers, the data is so big and complex. And it is not easy to have a systematic understanding of three-dimensional genome related diseases. In our work, we use a series of qualitative indicators to describe the disease, so as to have a more detailed understanding of three-dimensional genome related diseases conveniently. And at present, there is no special database for three-dimensional genome related diseases.
